Our 4th was somewhat interesting. First of all, as you can tell by the sweatshirts in the picture it was chilly!!! I don't ever remember a 4th that required jeans and sweatshirts.poor Mallory was terrified of the fireworks we set off. She stayed in the house and hid in my parents bedroom until they were over. We headed back home probably around 9:00pm (late for the girls) and when we got into our neighborhood noticed some pretty impressive fireworks that looked to be coming from our cul-de-sac. They were... and our neighbors had spent $800 on them!!!! Yes, eight hundred smackaroos! Of course Mallory took off like shot into the house saying "no more fireworks!" It was fun to watch a few go off and then we took the girls in to put them to bed. Well when 11pm comes around and our window are vibrating and the girls STILL aren't asleep I was feeling slighty annoyed. Maybe we'll spend the night somewhere away from our house next 4th of July!

They finally saw fireworks at night! woohoo! I still can't believe it was that chilly! The humid weather is here in MO.
