Maddy's Birthday was Thursday and since it was a school night and Mike and Kasey were coming up for the weekend we decided to do something very small for her Thursday evening and have an actual party for her on Saturday. So on Thurs. we took Maddy to Charbonos (her choice) to eat with Grandma and Grandpa Thomas and then back to our house to open presents.

Ah, so sweet. When I saw the first picture (before I read the caption) I thought - that has got to be Amanda's mom! I love the soccer cake, hoping Lauren's a soccer player someday too.
